Gail King, LPN
They say when you know, you know. Gail has known her whole life that she wanted to pursue a career in the medical field, and that’s exactly what she did. She enlisted in the United States Navy as a Corpsman at an early age to begin her career. When her enlistment was over, she transitioned into a position working with developmentally disabled clients. It was this role that prompted her to get her nursing license. Since then, Gail has worked in skilled nursing facilities where she has managed nursing units and has also spent time working in human resources, staff education and managing wound care programs for various facilities.
Gail joined the Premier Nursing Academy team in June of 2019 as an Instructor, a role she likes because she enjoys watching people succeed as they start in a new career. Just be sure to check your ego at the door when you walk into Gail’s classroom because she firmly believes everyone should work together as a team.
Gail is a big animal lover. She would invent a holiday involving animals and children if she could, but for now she’s content spending time with her own cat.
